Cyber Security Insurance

Average ransom ware demand is over $200,000 and the average cost of a data breach is $6.35 M. Statistics show us that ¾ of victims pay the ransom. But what the statistics don’t show us is how many businesses go OUT of business as they cannot afford the ransom or the breach. In addition, they don’t have the correct systems in place to recover from the attack. This number is probably larger than most people think. Cybersecurity insurance is a must. At a minimum you should have a $1M cyber security insurance policy. But in order to get this the insurance companies need to see that you have a Cyber Security Plan in place.
