Position Summary

Shing Digital is hiring for an experienced Account Executive to join our Edmonton team.  The Account Executive must be a professional relationship builder with a strong aptitude for prospecting; able to deliver exceptional customer service and dedicated to delivering value to their Clients.


  • Create detailed business plans designed to attain predetermined goals and quotas
  • Work closely with Management to identify and develop new business opportunities and competitive strategies
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a prospect to converting to a profitable client sale
  • Unearth new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, relationship building and turn those opportunities into long-term profitable partnerships
  • Managing existing client relationships to maintain satisfaction and drive portfolio growth
  • Present IT service offerings and proposals to prospective clients
  • Provide professional after-sales support to maximize customer loyalty
  • Remain in regular contact with your clients to understand and meet their needs
  • Respond to client problems and resolve issues to the customer’s satisfaction and to maintain the client relationship
  • Keep clear records of activities, client communications and applicable notes in a CRM System
  • Work closely with internal sales team and sales engineer to provide client requirements for all client quotes and proposals
  • Work closely with Operations Team and Project Team to follow up on existing deployments and projects to verify client satisfaction
  • Network with Shing partners to nurture working relationships and coordinate sales efforts.
  • Understand and keep up to date with industry and competitive landscape knowledge
  • Participates in corporate Webinars and follows up on potential new business prospects
  • Liaises with industry associations and actively networks for new business opportunities
  • Performs other duties as required.  


  • Proven experience as an Account Executive, or similar sales/customer service role
  • Knowledge and track record of effective market research, sales, cold calling and customer service principles
  • Knowledge of Office 365 Suite and of CRM software (eg. ConnectWise)
  • Experience with Information Technology selling is a plus
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
  • Organizational and time-management skills
