The client, a rapidly growing oilfield supplier, found itself at a critical juncture where its existing IT support structure could no longer sustain its ambitious expansion plans. With a diverse mix of needs ranging from daily IT support to continuous project management, the company faced significant challenges as it scaled its infrastructure, workforce, and locations. The growth trajectory required a robust support system flexible enough to adapt to dynamic changes, ensuring that all opportunities could be effectively harnessed. To address these needs, we implemented a flexible retainer agreement that allowed the client to adjust their commitment based on their evolving requirements. This agreement provided a comprehensive coverage plan that included ongoing support for daily operations and individual projects, as well as the opening of new locations. Our approach ensured that as the company grew, they received the necessary IT support to maintain operational efficiency and drive innovation. We facilitated their expansion by building and moving to new facilities, opening three new locations, migrating from predominantly on-premises to mainly cloud-based systems, and enhancing cybersecurity training, enabling the company to grow securely.
Over three years, the oilfield supplier successfully tripled in size, building a new facility and opening three additional locations. Our support structure played a pivotal role in their transformation, allowing them to migrate from a primarily on-premises IT environment to a predominantly cloud-based infrastructure. Project Summary
Shing’s Flex Silver Managed Agreement providing the client monthly block of time to be applied against client services, help desk, projects and cybersecurity. The blocks of time can be changed quarterly within the Flex agreement depending on the client’s existing needs.
