Cybersecure Canada Certification

Shing Digital is excited to announce that we have been officially certified by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada for the CyberSecure Canada Certification. CyberSecure Canada is the Canadian Governments cybersecurity certification program for small and medium-sized organizations.

The rise in cyber crime and specific attacks on managed service providers (MSP) has necessitated the need for customers to demand more from their MSPs. As a service provider, we help secure our customers with technology and processes to protect their people and infrastructure, but how do you make sure that the service provider is also following those same security principles.

For IT security, there is self-compliance with NIST CSF and certified compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and CyberSecure Canada just to name a few. Shing Digital chose CyberSecure Canada because it is an audited certification program by the Government of Canada, and it is the first major milestone in our security journey.

The path to a cybersecurity certification is always a journey and that is certainly our experience. Shing Digital has always been very security aware, and we make great efforts to protect our customers from attack through our systems. The CyberSecure Canada Certification validates all the efforts and investments that Shing Digital has put into our processes, infrastructure, and our people. When you work with Shing Digital, you can be confident that you are working with a service provider that takes your security seriously.

How secure are you?
